So Cade and RK had their birthday parties this Saturday (5/19/12). We did another joint party, those are the best...two birds baby!
It was great. RK had a Monster High theme and Cade had no particular theme. He had camo plates and stuff but the cake was just black and blue cookie cake. Really funny how much attention she wanted paid to the details of her party and how little Cade cared for any of the details of his party. He only had one request, cookie cake. At least that is easy, I can always please that sweet boy. On the flip side I do love how she is so concerned with details and "cuteness"! I will have to post some pictures soon!
We had the party at Gobbler's Knob (swim club that we are members to). They had lots of friends and family there to help them celebrate their birthday. My kids are so blessed to have such a large, wonderful family on both sides!
Cade only wanted money, and definitely racked up! I see a trip to a couple of stores in my immediate future. He is saving money for a laptop. He is such a good saver.
RK wanted Monster High stuff, Barbie stuff and money. She for the most part got only those things. She got some "girly" extras, which she loved as a nice surprise.
Most importantly, Thankful for the opportunity to celebrate another wonderful birthday for two of my most amazing treasures on earth...I will get to do that in September for the other amazing treasure in my life. Thankful for God who is in complete control of our life's and looking forward to celebrating many more wonderful occasions in our family for years to come!
