Easter Part III, Criminal Behavior, No Intent

The suspect....

The charge...Pulling the fire alarm

Bro. Mike on the phone with the fire department...

Here comes the Calvary....

These are the moments that you look back and laugh about if you are mom and dad. And they are the moments you laugh about immediately when it is someone else's child/ren. I must admit I am sure that I saw Mike let out a sigh of relief when she realized it wasn't one of hers. I am so very thankful for great family. I have a wonderful sister and two wonderful stepsisters.

Easter Part II, The Griffith Gathering

So, note to self, never ask Dad to take pics again, he is terrible. Of course, I know you can only work with what you have, but D and the kids are pretty good subjects. I could use a little work. Anyway I asked him to take pics of our family and as I am positioning us he just started snapping. Terrible I tell you. Dad next time wait till we are ready, please. If I have the time I will post the ones he took where we weren't looking.

Scott, Lindsey and Haley.

This was such a cute pic I just couldn't resist.

So after church we headed over to our church annex for some lunch. My dad and Karen, Kip and Courtney (the boys), Scott and Lindsey (Haley), Brandon and Mike (the kids), Mike and Mary (pastor and his wife) and Scott (the pastor's son) and his family were all there. We had BBQ and hot dogs for the kids, can you guess which one I ate? I am such a picky eater, drives me crazy. Keep trying to change those habits but haven't had much success. My next post (Part III) will make you laugh for sure. God Bless!

A Long Day Ahead of Us, Still Easter, Part I

This is how we start out....

Then RK starts doing what she does best....

And I don't know if anyone else likes to take pics sideways, but I really do. Never really seem to get great pics doing that though. Probably because the camera should be straight.

And this is how we finish the photo op. Now off to church to enjoy an Easter service.

I am so very thankful that I serve a risen God. Thankful for his peace and comfort always.

Happy Easter

This has become somewhat of a tradition at the Hulsey house. Every Easter morning and Christmas morning the kids sit here while D and I get the cameras ready. I have grown to love this picture tradition. It shows me how much my babies are growing up.

RK got Squinkies and some candy.

Bradon got some t-shirts and candy.

No, Cade didn't get Squinkies too. I just can't find a picture of what he got. But he got a DS old school game (which he had already but lost) and some candy.

Christmas with Grandpa and Nana K

Well we actually had Christmas with Grandpa and Nana K several days after Christmas this year. Thanks to the lovely flu bug that came to visit I messed up a lot of people's plans (Because I am so very important, HEHE!) MawMaw and Papa's and Grandpa and Nana K's were the only places I got to go. I am thankful that I was able to get that much in.

Mike got this game and we played for a long time after dinner and presents. I can't remember what it is called though. Bradon played along and was very good. I remember when Mike and I were growing up that our cousin Aubrey always got to play all the "big people" games way before us and I was so mad. Oh well, now I guess with the "cycle" of life that tradition has been passed onto my oldest son. Funny how quick things change.
